At The Super Hot, I've written about the Miami Dolphin Cheerleaders before. I don't know if they've updated their site with a new roster yet, but I brought photos of the talented group to showcase the cheer team. I hope they don't mind I've borrowed their photos.
The squad dates back to the team's founding in 1966 as the "Dolphins Dolls," an original youth group that performed at the Orange Bowl.
The team was sponsored by Starbrite Car Polish and known as the Starbrites until 1983, when a contest via Burger King officially named them the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders.
Their season begins with hundreds of hopeful candidates going through preliminary and semifinal rounds. These trials are hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. After that, they are selected for training camp.
The cheer team has a demanding schedule which involves rehearsals three to four nights a week, featuring heavy cardio conditioning, intricate choreography, and sideline performance practice.
The Super Hot wishes the best for the Miami Dolphins cheer squad this season!
