2025 Le Bal Des Debutantes

BY C STONE | THE SUPER HOT ||| EDITOR IN CHIEF ||| FASHION EVENTS

Welcome dear readers to today's Lunacy and Madness edition. If you've never heard of the Le Bal Des Debutantes, it's a singles event for rich people who want to find a husband or wife.

It all started back in 10th of July, 1958, usually located in Paris. Read more about this even at Wikipedia, because I can't be bothered to write about it.

Don't expect me to be slobbering over these people. If you're attractive and have rich enough parents, but not pretty to be  model - well, this IS the event for you!

Ouch. Having trouble finding a special someone? Can't be bothered or gave up on Tinder? Well look no further! This event is for you - the rich elite, desperate for a mate, HAS to do something, dammit!

I don't see a shred of Versace, Gucci, or even Prada here. Would someone explain to me what the hell the point is at this event. Better yet - did any of these attendees buy their own clothes?

We wont' bother to mention any names, because, quite honestly, I'm far too old for any of those girls. Not interested in men in the even tiniest amount, I get confused when people ask me out to dinner.

So you're young, pissed off, rich, and that vibrator isn't doing it anymore for you. That's why THIS is the event for you. So take that fancy title, buff those shoes, and wear some high-end perfume.

Why isn't anyone smiling anymore? It must feel like you're visiting a prison going to this fancy ball.

One item of contention: There's too much gaudy gold in this room. I never understood the reason to flank so much precious metal on wall accents. Even the U.S. White House has it in the oval office. Too much of a good thing can be a bad look. Fairly soon, the office will start looking like a dollar store.

Everyone is shot alone, except for the group photo. Great. I'm going to guess and say it was a fancy 12-course meal, crappy music, and even more awful guests for the women.

If I was 22, rich, and nice to look at, I would likely head to Florida or the Caymans. That's where you should be. Possibly even Texas.

One dress I actually liked, the pink one with the fancy green medallion. I'm not sure if the fireplaces still work, but all that gold is something.

Unless you're getting married that day, these over-sized and indulgent dresses make you look ridiculous. How the hell do you even fit through doorways?

What's even worse is to wear black. It's not a funeral. There is no reason to wear something so dark and foreboding. Red would be the best color, but almost no one wore it.

Am I old? The brown super-high dress is awful. I'm not sure what the intended look was here.

They ran out of coke in the bathroom, and now we're forced to pose for the camera look.

A fancy tiara and a gown that looks like a wedding dress. Be careful, people will think you're getting married with that look.

Why won't someone notice me? You want to meet someone, but how? Wearing these awful clothes is not going to solve the problem. If it took a lousy ball to arrange people together, it's not going to magically link people up after it. I suspect a lot of fake phone numbers and missed texts.

And when the alcohol fades, and you're left alone the next day stabbing at your eggs benedict, the people you noticed last night look absolutely like rubbish today. You decide to run for it.

If you've made it this far through this nonsense, I applaud you. Do return, I'll have more ripping insight for the so-called wannabe rich "model" elites.

Christmas Themes

BY C STONE | THE SUPER HOT || EDITOR IN CHIEF |||| FASHION

Wearing Christmas-themed clothes shouldn't be illegal, but sometimes, it feels that way. The sweet and sexy Christmas look is back and in high demand.

Black leather pants, usually super tight, along with a tacky Christmas shirt or sweater. These are the clothing themes I am thinking about. Designed out of a dystopian nightmare where the only three colors are green, red, and gold. Just awful.

I draw the line at wearing Christmas tinsel on clothes, unless it's strategically placed on the hips. The red shoes, purse, and Xmas decorations should stay at home.

If you're a man and stupid enough to wear Taylor-Swift inspired lipstick, I hate to break it to you: Don't. It never looked good, not even once. Expect ridicule and the pursuit of awful people.

And what is with that awful combover? Just stop.

I think everyone can remember when Aunt Mary or Uncle Joe had a little too much to drink and began humping the Christmas tree. Out on the front yard. I was never a fan of those annoying portable LED Christmas lights you can wear.

And you'd be surprised how much alcohol loosens up those previous inhibitions. Sometimes, it's best never to invite family over for Christmas.

Christmas is the time where you take your best behavior and treat other people like normal human beings - but just for a day or so. Who else says Merry Christmas to the 7-11 clerks on Boxing Day?

Christmas is the time for fast fashion. Embrace that urge to purchase vast amounts of cheap clothes made in third world countries - mostly. And as you sit back, half drunk, ignoring those annoying texts and calls from your significant other - just remember: We're all in this together!

Kendall Jenner SIZZLES in Recent Instangram Snaps

BY C STONE | THE SUPER HOT ||| MODEL NEWS

Supermodel Kendall Jenner absolutely sizzles on her Instagram account, posted about 7 days ago. In the following photos, Kendall can be seen naked on the beach, or wearing a tiny bikini bottom.

Her legendary modelling pedigree cannot be underestimated.

Adoration would be a weak word describing the attention she deserves. NSFW, but worth it.

Who Wore It Best?

BY C STONE | THE SUPER HOT | EDITOR IN CHIEF ||| FASHION

I wanted to see what different colors did when worn together. The hot combination is red and purple. I swapped it out with yellow, but it wasn't the same. It lacked that 'special' look. Take a look at the ai photos and let me know.

The glittery purple dress and the bright yellow belt kind of make the outfit work.

An unusual design. The thin, lacey dress above with what appears to be a tiny yellow sash.

I like this picture because it shows another model from behind wearing the same outfit. It's a great picture because the colors just work well together.

A reflective dress above, with a tiny sash/belt. The open back, it makes the person impossible to ignore.

The double belt. Why? I have no idea. Does it work? No. But anyway, we hope you enjoy the photo.

And then I thought 'what if I reversed it? Yellow dress, purple belt.'. So I did it.

I don't think it worked. At all. Could I be wrong? The gold accent on the belt is nice.

Is yellow a new hot color? Or better yet, was it ever?

The iconic lipstick. The classic top and unusual purple belt. I think this one works.

More yellow. A splash of purple. Maybe it works. Maybe.

This print works. I don't even know what the pattern is, but it could be flowers? Nice look.

Red. Oh the red with purple. Yes, YES it works. That powerful color. Bold, bright, and hot.

Color can really make a difference in your clothes. Moving from boring gray Khakis to a lightly patterned or colored pants will work wonders.

Pam Hogg: Dead at 66: Fashion Designer to the Stars

BY C STONE| THE SUPER HOT |||| EDITOR IN CHIEF |||| FASHION NEWS

Breaking news: Fashion Designer to the stars, Pam Hogg, has died at age 66, according to multiple news sources.

Pam designed many of the items worn by stars such as Rihanna, Kate Moss, and Debbie Harry from Blondie.

Pam wore her trademark Blonde hair, red lipstick and winged eyeliner. She past away with friends and family.

via the Guardian:

She appeared on the front of i-D in 1989, and on the Wogan Show in 1990 – the day after her birthday party. “I was off my head,” she told the Guardian in 2018. “I was wearing my black PVC leggings and Terry Wogan remarked that they looked uncomfortable. So my immediate reaction was: ‘Are they?’ and I sat on his lap.”

Hogg’s rock’n’roll spirit lent itself to her next move – as fashion moved to a more minimal look in the 1990s, she swapped the catwalk for the stage, as the lead singer in the band Doll. Opening for the likes of Blondie and the Raincoats, she continued to design with suitably extrovert costumes, and she retained her A-list circle. Remembering this era with the Gentlewoman magazine in 2017, Hogg described an outfit with a Ziggy Stardust flash she had made. “Last year I took it to Kate Moss’s for her Bowie-themed birthday party at her Cotswolds home,” she said. “When I got there, she immediately tore off the amazing couture dress she was wearing and put it on. That was kind of gratifying.”

Pam said to The Guardian:

“I’m just glad not to be termed normal. Fuck normality!” This is something she will no doubt be remembered for. As her family wrote on Instagram, with the news of her death: “Pamela’s creative spirit and body of work touched the lives of many people of all ages and she leaves a magnificent legacy that will continue to inspire, bring joy and challenge us to live beyond the confines of convention.”

Those Black Friday Fashion "Deals"

BY C STONE | THE SUPER HOT ||| FASHION NEWS

Black Friday is almost here. People around the world are refreshing their browsers like stock tips; but the sad reality couldn't be further from the truth.

Indeed, you can buy some bargains on black Friday from luxury brands. But don't expect miraculous savings or incredible deals on new clothes.

Instead, you'll likely find old stock that hasn't moved. Retailers are counting on people jumping for their deals. Large discounts, maybe even cheap or free shipping will entice many.

But the real deals are scarce and often sold out long before you get a chance to fill your cart online.

Most professional buyers use applications to snatch items online. Remember the early days of eBay? Then a few years later, something awful happened.

Web sites like bidsnipe became common, where people could use a 3rd party site to place bids milliseconds before the auction closes. It's kind of like that. But instead of someone buying 1 item a few seconds when a restock occurs, they buy them all.

Again and again.

You seriously need good luck or someone at that company to get decent deals. And believe me, even the employees of those luxury companies want nothing to do with the brands they are selling.

As someone who told me at work "Working for company YY1 was the worst in my life.". YY1 is a well-known and established Italian brand. Apparently, this person was treated so horribly he even flinched when he said the brand name. "All they cared about was money. That's it."

And I believe him.

Nobody thinks about where these items are made, sourced, or designed. I saw a hilarious label on a coat: "Designed in Canada, made in China."

How's that for nationalism?

Good luck out there!
