Forgotten Fashion Trends That Should Come Back

We remember the era of iconic trucker hats. It doesn't matter if it's old-school mesh, blue jean, or leather, these hats are practical, versatile, and fairly cheap. Trick hats were neat - those are hats that color change, have unique words on them, and designs.

Crop tops and low-rise jeans. Set yourself back to the early 90's and this trend was common for young women. They could be called baby-t shirts, but all I knew was no one wore them in the winter time. These outfits were popular in the summer months.

Have flip-flops come full circle? The cheap, plastic and foam-style shoes that make that iconic noise when you walk - who can forget them? Often purchased very cheaply, these shoes are polarizing. You could consider them beach clothes. I've never once thought flip flops were stylish.

Ugg boots were expensive, often reaching $400 a pair back in the day. The soft winter boots were super popular in the 2010's. I never understood the appeal, and they were the go-to item back in 2012.

Cargo Pants are not only practical, but have many pockets to carry your every day items. I used to wear these on the daily, until one day I stopped. Why? Well, they're great if you're going into a casual work environment. They are not really business casual, unless you're into alternate dress style.

Rhinestone accents - they were huge in the 1970's. Entertainers, especially Elvis, would make it their mainstay fashion choice. Whether or not it's a normal style is up for debate. The stones are glued to the fabric. You can get pants in many different styles. The practical use for this is limited.

A shrug. It's kind of a scarf and vest or jacket. I'm not sure if it serves a purpose except to accentuate your shirt or top. For men it was unheard of to wear one.

Fedoras. I remember buying one in the mid 1980's and immediately regretted it. It's a polarizing look, one destined for the history books. But yet, it keeps coming back. Even Britney Spears back in the day wore one a few times.

A few times indeed.
