Yoga Pants: Peak Couture?

For those readers who remember the 2013 Yoga Pants debacle with Lulumon, but for those not aware - yoga pants that had a defective 'thinness' which exposed the woman's body a little bit too much.

There is a fine line between public nudity and modesty, and in 2013 these two lines were blurred when the above yoga pants were introduced. They were basically single-use pants, not meant to be washed or cleaned. The problem with clothes this thin is the durability is gone.

Nothing can match the yoga pants clinging to the natural form of the body. You can't wear these things at the office, that's for sure.

But honestly,  if you have a body like Britney Spears in 1999, these pants might fit your bill. Just be aware, they attract a lot of attention.

But Lulumon did the impossible, and brought back their product, using higher-quality materials and slowly winning their customers trust back. Once you find an appealing, good-fitting product, it's difficult for consumers to switch. Because...why would they?

These impossible clothes, meant for people who exist on 100 calories a day, have a special place in society. It teaches you that dreams are for fools, and that only the truly lucky can wear these pants. Usually only for a limited time.

Have a great day!
