The country music legend Dolly Parton has past away at the age of 80, according to news sources.

She wrote thousands of songs and released numerous multi-platinum hits that defined generations of music. Her signature tracks include:"Jolene""9 to 5""I Will Always Love You" (which she famously wrote and was later covered globally by Whitney Houston).

Throughout her illustrious career, she earned 11 Grammy Awards, three Emmy Awards, and a Tony Award nomination, cementing her status as one of the best-selling artists of all time. 

 She starred in iconic Hollywood films like 9 to 5 and Steel Magnolias.
