Don't Care for The Met Gala? Here's Pretty Gothic Girls

It's another year and the Met Gala 2026 has begun once again - and quite literally it's tough to suppress a yawn. Can I just say? I'm skipping it this year. We're doing an extensive Gothic Girl review and I certainly hope you enjoy it.

I truly adore the alt and gothic girl look. Let's be honest: Once a person leaves high school and college, there are very few jobs out there that will tolerate an alt girl look.

And yes, while I'll admit this post is merely AI Slop with somewhat witty and interesting dialog - if at all. I'm not a fan of the black tattoos, but clearly AI Had a theme going on here. If you look closely, you can even see the wrinkles near the shoulders. That's a lot of detail.

One item I noticed is not alot of black women are featured in the creations. I have to specify color when I post them - and I will. It's just sad that AI still leans towards the white anglo saxon woman.

The group photos, with what appears to e hot, smiling girls is always a welcome sight. Has anyone been to the Met Gala? Did they like it as much as Zendaya did? Hmmm.

I'd rather have a running scene of pretty goth and alternative girls than a simulated horror show (I've seen some of those images at the Met, it wasn't great).

But don't take my word for it - you should go. Experience it. Check it out. Enjoy it. Fully. Then come back and tell the world what it was like. Do the photographers shout loudly?

It's funny how closely the Taylor Swift makeup resembles a basic goth look. Quite striking indeed.

If you're looking for a life-changing post this isn't it. Instead, focus on relaxing, calmness, and enjoying the evening. That's what matters.

I'll admit those collars are a sexy touch. The hotness just went off the scale.

I don't know, but in some of these photos I feel like I'm being judged. Well judge me, people. This is fun for me.

Morality will always be used to guide my image choices. You won't find violence, gore, sexual depravity, or unnatural images (intentionally). I'd like to display photos I'd be comfortable to show my actual work boss to - respectful photos.

The unrealistic images of beauty are everywhere. I couldn't imagine the race it is to be a pretty young woman fighting to survive in this hostile world.

I really want to believe the 2 women on the right are two separate people, but honestly, I'm not sure.

Things get serious when girls start wearing bikini tops and leather necklaces. Very serious.
