It should be stated that all images belong to the NFL and the Las Vegas Raiderettes.
There are over 30 cheerleaders here, I was shocked at how many Las Vegas professional dancers are on the team. So I counted, there about 32 of them (give or take).
The Las Vegas Raiderettes, famously known as "Football's Fabulous Females", originated from a high school baton-twirler squad, have moved cities with the franchise four times, and count notable media personalities among their alumni.
The Las Vegas NFL Cheer Team started in 1962 when national champion baton twirler Diane Shelton performed at a preseason game and her father called her a "Raiderette".
They became only the second official cheer and dance squad in the entire NFL. The team traveled through Oakland, Los Angeles, back to Oakland, and finally to Las Vegas alongside the franchise.
Alumnae include Fox News personality Emily Compagno and former MADtv cast member Anjelah Johnson.
