Discount Fashion: Where To Buy?

BY C STONE | THE SUPER HOT ||| FASHION

When you want to buy nice clothes on a budget, where does one go? In many countries, thrift stores have become the go-to choice for shirts and pants. You can find reasonably-priced shirts and pants for up to 90% off at these stores.

When shopping for these clothes, it's best to take your time and examine the item carefully. Does it have sweat stains under the arms? Are the pants showing holes, tears, or stains? Is the quality of the item something you expected, or is it missing things like pockets, sewn hems, or zippers/buttons?

Discounted clothes can be alluring. You can take your chances on auction sites, but it's far more difficult to find something amazing when you're competing against the clock against an unknown list of competitors.

I've always preferred in person shopping. It's quick, efficient, and there's no shipping involved. The real problem I found with this style is there are far, far too many nice pieces of clothes out there. If you're not careful, you could spend several hundred dollars on items and require a 3rd clothes rack.

Be aware that thrift stores can carry unsavory things like bed bugs and lice. Always stay clear of clothes when shopping. Hold them afar and examine them closely. Place them in bags and never put them into your inventory until they've gone through a hanging in an isolated room.

Outlet stores can carry deep discounts, but be aware, some of the items can be discolored, torn, or even have bad sewing lines. There's a reason they end up at these stores. They're either unwanted items, or they have a defect. But sometimes, you can really get a lucky buy.

Purchasing via consignment is the most expensive way to purchase an item. But it's also the safest if you want to be assured of the item being high quality. But beware, not all consignment shops are honest. Some will outright sell you crap made out of 3rd world countries or knockoff items.

Purchasing knockoffs is a major mistake. Never do it. The brands have invested a lot of money into their items, and yes, we know that Louis Viton has items bespoke in China. And when you buy another item from a similar vendor in China, it's giving money to people who are cheating the system.

You are also potentially funding criminal organizations who are making inferior products with potentially dangerous or hazardous chemicals. Think lead-handled purses or shoes made with toxic materials.

Be wary if you buy a product from someone in a white van. They might also sell you super cheap speakers, too.

😅

The Super Hot Fashion House

BY C STONE | THE SUPER HOT |||| FASHION

Welcome, dear readers, to The Super Hot Fashion House. That's right. Exclusive designs, intriguing commentary, and out-of-this-world sexy. And we're just getting started.

What's wrong with a black wedding dress? I think they're very intriguing. Of course, you could wear white - but why should you? Think different. Black is back, baby. I think it deserves attention.

The elegance cannot be denied. That lustful, sultry appear is back. Ladies and gentlemen, if not black, why not other colors? And why is black always for funerals?

Question - what is better than black, but just as sexy? Answer? Red! Of course you should have a red wedding dress. And why not? It drips with sexuality and love. What a pretty combination of lacey red with a trail.

I find this look very interesting. At first, the model appears to be wearing a futuristic dress style. The classic naked back, the long trellis over her head. Such pretty.

Moving towards formal evening wear, the red dress is hot as hell. I love it. The lacey straps, with what appears to be a lacey,  knitted garment. How neat.

Moving to yellow. Wow, a real bold move here. I tried purple, but it just didn't fit the theme of this years colors. Instead, I went with a lacey yellow floral dress.

Was I wrong?

Rating Celebrity Looks

BY C STONE | THE SUPER HOT ||| EDITOR IN CHIEF ||| FASHION COMMENTARY

Has Hollywood suffered a fashion crisis? I'll review some of the looks by celebrities and give my own brutal assessment. First up: Charlie XCX. I loved her in the early days with Fancy. But now, wearing all black YSL, its dreadful. She looks like she's going to a funeral of her grandma. Or maybe someone's upcoming wedding. The black lace, the leather (?) looking dress. Just no.

Kim Kardashian, doing her best Kanye impression. I don't think this dress is very flattering. The mock breasts below her real ones, the droopy and drab brown color doesn't do anything. I don't get it. The necklace is overkill.

Olivia Rodrigo. Finally, a model who smiles, is wearing something decent, and seems to fit into the theme. I like the black dot in the middle of her bosom, and the white lacey top is pretty. Her dress is very elegant.

Selena Gomez: Oh my. She's all grown up now, isn't she? Looking great, wearing a super-cute short pixie cut, a sexy dress and coat. What's not to love?

Jenna Ortega. What the hell is she wearing for a top? I love the skirt, but hate the top. I don't understand it. Her hair is flawless.

Rachel Zegler is all grown up now. There is nothing wrong with this dress, the shoes are perfect, the pink lace on her arms are pretty. I absolutely love her hair and the earrings. Just wow, a total knockout.

I have no idea who Rachel Sonnett is, but this awful outfit has got to go. A large purple monstrosity, with a slit and buttons. The shoes are nice, and that's about it.

Ayo Edebiri is wearing a smart black and white top outfit. It's casual but not too constricting. I have no issues with this style.

Someone should have told Elle Fanning to fight off the fashion designer who asked her to wear this monstrosity. I haven't seen anything this ridiculous since Sesame Street's Big Bird.

Hailey Bieber's outfit was no better. Had the design been a continuous fabric design instead of the 2-tone, it would have worked. But here, it's a miss. The shoes are nice.

Viola Davis is wearing something of a classic. The blue with fringes are quite nice for an evening experience. You can tell she's not happy in the picture.

Someone tell me Greta Lee was forced to wear this awful outfit. I hate the top, and the canopy dress isn't much better.

Demi Moore and Lucy Lui are wearing contrasting outfits. I think Lucy Lui wore it slightly better. The matching blue clutch is a nice addition. If you swapped jewelry with Demi Moore, it would be even prettier.

Milly Alcock. What an adorable girl. This outfit, just wow. The see through dress, showing her absolutely tight waist is a complete win here. I love it.

I have no idea who Mikey Madison is, but this outfit is a bit of a mystery to me. Clearly, you can see her underwear, but yet, does it work? I'm not so sure. If you had a slip to cover her underwear, then yes, it would work. I like the necklace.

Sydney Sweeney, despite my unwavering love for her, appears completely dreadful and sad in this black outfit. I love the design, but, clearly something was bothering her that evening.

Kendall Jenner. Where to begin? Had she wore a large belt or cloth around her waist, this would be a winner. Instead, my OCD kicks in and I have this overwhelming desire to pull her dress down to get rid of the 'wrinkles'. I love the black toe nails.

The Era of Miserable Models in Fashion

BY C  STONE | THE SUPER HOT || EDITOR IN CHIEF |||| FASHION EDITORIAL

Perhaps it's me, but back in the 70's in and 80's, fashion models really were smiling when the cameras hit them with the flash. Indeed, the rare model above was shown in a video recently smiling. So adorable, we had to put her on my site.  But still, when she was spotted wearing the clothes, there wasn't a smile anywhere - except for a brief moment.

In today's runway society, smiles appear to be very rare. The most you'll get is a tired, angry-looking model with few smiles anywhere. It's like the fashion houses said "Look, just wear these awful clothes, don't smile, and star straight ahead." How original.

I disagree with the theory if you smile while wearing the clothes, it detracts from the looks. If a model smiles, it means that person is enjoying the look and clothes. It's like driving a fancy car: Wouldn't you want your product to show people happily enjoying it?

Why yes, yes you would.

If high-level fashion truly wants models who never smile, then I see the sad future of using robots to display clothes. Now that is an awful thought. They might as use used wheeled mannequins, being pulled slowly by people in dark, black cloaks. How dreary.

The austere, serious look is kind of old now. I guess it would be better than having a lunatic smile, covered in anger. Having models battle on stage in mock battles using swords.

Now we're getting somewhere. If I owned a fashion house, I would never have a runway look like the one below. It's sad, the image below has to be generated by A.I. They're all plain, wearing boring black or grey clothes with the same shoes and no jewelry. Sounds like hell to me.

In stark contrast, here's a couple of A.I. generated models that are smiling.

Despite the ridiculous rainbow-colored dress, the smile makes a massive difference. Does anyone believe the stoic, angry model wearing Versace and grimacing? Is she happy? No? Moving on.

We'll have more notes about the fashion industry, the runway, and more in the next few Days!

Taylor Swift Donates $100K to Girl Battling Cancer

BY C STONE | THE SUPER HOT ||| EDITOR IN CHIEF |||| ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

In an astonishingly sweet moment of generosity, Super Star Taylor Swift donated $100,000 to help a young fan stricken with cancer. What a lovely gesture.

via vocal.media:

Pop superstar Taylor Swift has once again proven her incredible generosity by donating $100,000 to a family whose 2 year-old daughter, Lilah, had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. The donation was made via the family's GoFundMe page, with the money surpassing the fundraising goal. The donation also brought plenty of attention to the little girl’s battle, creating a new wave of support from fans around the world.

Lilah’s mother, Katelynn Smoot, has been posting her daughter’s treatment journey on social media. In an emotional clip posted on October 8 on TikTok, Katelynn showed a video in which Lilah was watching Swift and stated that her daughter was a fan of Taylor’s. Katelynn also posted a viral clip of her attending Swift’s Eras tour while pregnant with Lilah.

Just over a week later, on October 17, Swift made the substantial donation of $100,000 to Lilah’s GoFundMe page, and along with it a note that read, "Sending the biggest hug to my friend, Lilah!" The donation helped push the total past the GoFundMe fundraising goal of $100,000 by over $60,000. Lilah’s family was ecstatic and expressed huge gratitude for the donation. "I can't express in words how incredibly grateful we are." Katelynn Smoot said in a later video post. The act of kindness is not an isolated instance in the life of the international pop star, but another good deed in a long and consistent history of making such donations.

We Re-Designed the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader and Patriots Outfits So You Didn't Have To

BY C STONE | THE SUPER HOT ||| EDITOR IN CHIEF ||||  MODELS

We decided to redesign the Dallas Cowboy and New England Patriot cheerleaders with new, fresh outfits. You can thank me later. We used nothing but the absolute best artificial intelligence and my guiding hand to bring them up to date to the 2026 year.

I know. Why change something they think is perfect? Well, to be blunt, it's not. The DCC squad wears cloth that dates back to the 1980's. The Patriot Girls, God only knows how long they suffered wearing these awful outfits.

Well, no more. Dear readers, I bring you the most amazing collection and limited edition items to bring them into the 2026 year. We hope you enjoy the new and exciting looks!

We swapped out those white boots with cowboy boots. Of course I did. I love the ridiculous hat.

Love her look. The tiny skirt, the short cowboy boots with red trim. Oh, arm bands too.

This time, taller boots with a slightly longer skirt. Ntoice the tight top. Mmmm. Nice.

Isn't she the sweetest thing? Super-short skirt, probably not NFL-legal, and white cowboy boots again. I love the arms.

Tight-fitting jean shorts are back. The blue star-arms. The vest. It's great.

Making blue hot again, we present to you the super-cheerleader for 2026. I love the boots and two-colored skirt. The bra top is sweet.

Back to a high-school inspired look. I'm not a fan of the thick top skirt, but it works.

We strayed from the white boots, and no, it doesn't work out at all.

The brown boots, so special, just don't make the outfit here. The rest is nice. The model's left hand is kind of... scary looking.

I love the above look. I doubt the DCC would even consider it. But still, it's a classic win here.
